Ikal del Mar - Ikal del Mar is an unspoiled tropical oasis, set directly on a secluded beach just three miles from the exciting town of Playa del Carmen. Instead guests will find their beach paths and the resort walkways ensconced with natural torches, which adds to the romantic ambience of this special property.

Paths and walkways carefully meander throughout the jungle, but carefully avoid the old growth forests. Younger trees are allowed to grow within the paths, further reinforcing the resort managements philosophy to respect the forest and blend harmoniously and seamlessly with its natural ambience.

The full service spa at Ikal del Mar--a sanctuary for the senses--offers its guests a holistic experience in the Riviera Mayan tropical spa setting. The Spa offers a steam room, jacuzzi, swiss showers with adjustable water pressure, and individual treatment areas. There is also a sea-side spa area for Temazcal bath, massages, facials, treatments and Yoga.
