Dear Joyce,

Travel to Tahiti for just $1375 per person for eight fabulous nights, including airfare and accommodations! Last minute cruise specials to Alaska for seven days just $499 per person!

We have all been bombarded with these so called last minute specials – but buyer beware. These rates will never include taxes, port charges, and more importantly are good for only select dates, and will always include the least expensive accommodation or cabin quoted in the price. These so called specials are really just “travel lures” to entice the reader to pick up the phone and call.

As travel professionals we get bombarded with specials from a myriad of companies daily. Sometimes there are great deals, but most of the time the companies offering the deals cannot beat the prices a traveler could have gotten if their vacation was booked several months in advance. The reason being is that as destination specialists we work with tour operators that only sell specific destinations enabling them to have terrific buying power which translates to superior savings for our clients.

If you do have flexibility in traveling and you don’t care what type of cabin you get, some of the best deals can be had by booking cruises in the two months prior to a ships departure date. For more information on these spectacular offers please don’t hesitate to contact Patricia – our accredited Master Cruise Counselor (cruises@incrediblejourney.net).

  • Welcome to Molokai

Molokai is the Most Hawaiian of the islands. Often called "The Friendly Island" because the aloha spirit flourishes here, this is the Hawaii of 50 years ago, before high rises, billboards, shopping centers and the commercialism that has become a part of the other major islands.  Molokai is the least developed and most sparsely populated of the Hawaiian islands. There are no buildings over three stories high, no elevators, no freeways, no traffic or traffic lights, no fast food outlets and no supermarket chains. Instead, you will find unparalleled great natural beauty, vast open spaces and perfect conditions for a lazy vacation in an unspoiled setting.

Molokai offers ideal conditions for golfing, hunting, horseback riding, windsurfing, big-game fishing and boating. For a unique experience you can hike or ride a mule to Kalaupapa, the famous settlement where Father Damien came more than a century ago to minister to those suffering from Hansen’s disease.

    Choose to Cruise…100 Reasons Why!

Ever thought a cruise would be boring? Below are 100 reasons the Cruise Line Industry Association suggests you choose to cruise.

    1. Be waited on hand and foot by a crew who knows how to please.
    2. Catch some rays.
    3. Get a penguin’s eye view of a glacier.
    4. Brag about your grandchildren at a grandparent’s party.
    5. “Disappear” during a magical act.
    6. Sip a mint julep while listening to Ragtime.

    Ask Endora

    Endora

Just curious, are there any deals to the Cancun area, especially in the aftermath of the hurricane that just hit that region?

    Brad – Phoenix

    Dear Brad,

Travel to the Yucatan had been in high demand prior to the hurricane. Most properties in the Playacar area are closed for a couple of weeks to take care of damage to the grounds. I guess you will have to wait and see if properties are lacking visitors, but for now everything is just about filled to capacity.

    Good luck Sweetie,
    Endora

Discovering the Benefits of Private Home Rentals

Have you ever wanted to stay in a wonderfully gorgeous beach front home? To be able to hear the crashing surf of waves, to get up in the morning with your cup of joe and walk along a deserted beach? How about stay in an authentic restored castle, a Spanish villa, apartment in gay Paris, economical condo on the beach with resort amenities? Don’t be surprised, many of our clients have found that spending their vacation in a home is a roomy alternative to hotels. There are a variety of accommodations to suit luxury to budget travelers.

The affluent can find the amenities and service of a fine hotel with private chefs, daily maid service, activity planner, private chauffeurs and baby sitters. Those on a shoe string budget will find that sharing a home with friends or family will provide a cost effective way to travel without sacrificing ambience or quality of the accommodations.
