Ask Endora

Dear Endora,

I am thinking of renting a private home for a month this year in Hawaii. Are homeowners offering any great values this year?

Looking for a deal

Dear Looking for a deal,

Darling on Kauai I do know of several owners who will offer either 10% off the total monthly rate (which is discounted to begin with) to offering one week free of the already greatly reduced rate.

Owners are looking to keep their vacancy rate down to cover the huge increase in property taxes that hit most owners this year!

Good luck searching,
   Endora

Dear Endora,

I really want to take advantage of the bargains, which are available this year but won’t be able to travel ‘til next year. Do you think these specials will go into next year?

Anxious to book

Dear Anxious to book,

I am with you dear; the deals being offered this year are beyond believable. And the tour operators and cruise line know it and to boost sales for 2010 most travel suppliers are offering these fabulous rates for travel into 2010.

So please don’t fret, call one of our agents to help secure the “travel deal of the century.”

All the best,
   Endora

Dear Endora,

I am in the initial stages of planning a wedding to Hawaii. There is so much information out there, where should I start?

Giselle – Iowa

Dear Giselle,

The internet is a grand source of information, albeit sometimes overwhelming. One great site to explore is:

www.gohawaii.com - this is the Hawaii Visitors and Convention Bureau website.

If you already know which island you want your wedding on you can link to that specific island from the website above.

If you are planning a destination wedding that will include hotel rooms I would seek out a travel company that specializes in Hawaii so that they will be a liaison between you and the resort. This is a great way to get free help when you need it most! And remember our company, Incredible Journey provides these types of services for Hawaii, Mexico and cruises.

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding,
   Endora
