Bora Bora Lagoon Resort

Set on Motu Toopua in the middle of Bora Bora's opalescent lagoon, the 79 overwater, beachfront and garden bungalows of this Orient-Express hotel command breathtaking views of Mount Otemanu. Bora Bora Lagoon Resort & Spa is a true Polynesian fantasy, a tropical landscape surrounded by picturesque thatched buildings, verdant pathways and soft white sandy beaches.

The elegantly designed bungalows are air conditioned and feature a large sitting area, king-size bed (or two twin size beds), glass lagoon-viewing coffee table (over water bungalows), private sun deck, separate bath/shower, telephone, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, safe, minibar, satellite television with DVD player. The interior of the bungalows are crafted of oiled yucca woods, Kaori walls, Kohu wood floor to ceiling louvers and timber blinds, authentic local style furniture - a perfect blend of Polynesian charm and modern comfort.

Facilities include two restaurants, Treetop Spa, fitness center, freshwater infinity pool (the largest in French Polynesia), gift shop, activities desk, concierge and tennis courts. There is complimentary shuttle boat service to/from Vaitape.

"Joyce, I wanted to thank you so much for hooking up our honeymoon in Bora Bora at the Lagoon hotel. It was the perfect place to go and just relax and do nothing. I don't think a trip has ever been arranged for me like that, everything was taken care of, much appreciated after a wedding :) The beach was amazing, actually better than i thought it would be. We just hung out the whole trip on the sand and swam, drank, and read. We did the Shark and Ray tour which I'm so glad we did, that was an experience we'll never forget! We ate at Villa Mahana which was amazing and also Bloody Mary's. Wound up talking for a while to the owner and Chef of VM, he lived and worked at one of the most $$$ french restaurants in Los Angeles. I've attached a few fotos so you can see what a good time we had. Before we left, Chara was planning our next trip back:) Oh yeah, the resort was about 70% Italians, do you know why so many go to the BBLR? Ia Orana Chara and Dave Thanks again for everything " - David, California, 2009-02-03
