La Casa que Canta

Ingeniously designed, this custom crafted 24 all suite boutique hacienda styled hotel is bound to delight all senses. The hotel is perched above La Playa Ropa beach and was architecturally sculpted into the rock for ultimate privacy and views. Upon entering the lobby the view is so commanding that you will be taken aback for a moment just to gaze at the mesmerizing glittering endless ocean below. As you slowly come back to reality and you start to absorb the environment the surrounds you, you soon realize that each and every bit of the custom crafted Mexican furnishings, tropical foliage, perfectly placed decorations and architectural design has a purpose and theme.

There are two undeniably romantic pools that will surely help float your cares away. The fresh water infinity pool that is perched at the top of the property was made famous by the film, "When a Man Loves a Woman." The second pool is closer to the ocean and is a salt water pool that is surrounded by cascading waterfalls, lush tropical foliage and private lounging areas which are interspersed here and there for maximum privacy.

Not only is the beautifully designed exterior handcrafted in the "old pueblo ways," but when the floors were being designed thought was given to the "noise" factor so that in between the beautiful stone floors there is Brazilian hardwood that blends harmoniously with the other natural elements. These are just a few of the little touches you will experience throughout the hotel during your stay. As to be expected from a hotel of this caliber the service will exceed all expectations.

A favorite for all guests are the intricate flower designs artistically created each day by the housekeeping staff which are placed on each bedspread. The designs are so well made that most guests believe them to be embroidered into the linen.

The restaurant has a world class menu at that has been thoughtfully created by the chef so that the Mexican flavors combined with the fresh produce and seafood takes center stage, presentation is equally as important. Each meal will be an epicurean delight.

All uniquely designed 24 private suites have gorgeous terraces with commanding views of the ocean below. The Terrace suites are the smallest of all the rooms and have a small outside living area and terrace; the master suites have a much larger outdoor living area and terrace - 759 - 1,278 sq. feet; and the crème de la crème, absolutely sublime and heavenly are the eleven plunge pool suites. These suites are very large with a wonderful outdoor living room with nonstop ocean views, a small quiet area tucked away where there is a hammock that you can glide on, and the infinity plunge pools to gaze upon the mesmerizing sea below - 1,100 - 1,733 sq. feet. The ultimate in sheer bliss...
