"Hello Joyce: Lisa and I returned Sunday night from Kauai. We enjoyed a terrific stay at the Pali Ke Kua condo #106. As I promised, below is our feedback. HIGHLIGHTS - Wonderful location on pristine Princeville grounds with spectacular ocean view from atop the cliff, primarily looking toward the northern edge of the Na Pali coast. Enjoyed watching the handful of surfers out at the break from our sliding glass door. - The exclusive paved walk to the Pali Ke Kua private beach made us feel particularly privileged. Surf was a little high for us to enjoy a full day at our beach, but it made for a wonderful morning wake-up swim. - The condo was pretty stocked, thank you: - kitchen gear included blender, george foreman grill, ice-maker, ice packs for the soft cooler (nice touch), coffe-maker, basic spices, a variety of glassware for all occasions - beach gear included towels (so-so), folding chairs, mats, boogie-board - entertainment included tv, vcr, DVD, small boom box with CD player, decent books, few games, bunch of videos. - It was great to take advantage of the washer/dryer in the unit. We didn't have to be concerned about coming home wet or dirty, just enjoyed the day and popped stuff in the washer or dryer as necessary. - Overall, it was clean, comfortable, all the essentials, a little small, but perfectly cozy for a loving couple like ourselves. All in all, we are a couple of very happy campers. We appreciate all you did to hook us up. Thank you Joyce. We will keep you in mind for future travel plans. "We had a wonderful time on Kauai. And, we loved that million dollar view from Pali Ke Kua in Princeville. We hired a babysitter named Joy from Aloha Babysitting (excellent service). Joy came into the condo's living room and exclaimed "You have the best view on the island." " - Tacy Paul Roby, Maryland, 2007-04-03
"Dear Joyce, Just wanted to say THANK YOU !! for a wonderful trip arrangement. The condo was absolutely perfect. We will definitely, definitely stay again - and book through you of course. Hopefully always to get room #101 - I love the view !! And our daughter would just squeal playing on the front lawn. Thanks so much again for a magical trip. All the Best, Nico " - Nico Morrison, California, 2007-04-03
"Hi Vicki, Enjoyed our stay again this year. We really liked Pali Kai Kua, our condo had a great view. Very pleased with this place. Now we are thinking of possibly taking a trip to Italy/France or just Italy next year. You mentioned somebody other than youself specializes in Europe. We'll miss working with you on that trip if we do decide to go. We will certainly be in touch for our future Hawaii trips. Do you specialize in other destinations? Let us know. Again, thanks for everything!! Lisa and Ken Bowers " - Ken Bowers, Alamo, CA, 2008-03-30
"Dear Joyce, It looks like perhaps you’re home from Italy. Thank you for sending me the lovely candle and soap from the Island Candle Company. I want to especially thank you for making my experience in Kauai as wonderful as I hoped it would be. It could not have been better, which is extraordinary considering that you only had a few days to plan it for me. The Aloha Sunrise cottage has lovely gardens, friendly owners and was adequate for my needs. The Pali Ke Kua condo was absolutely perfect – I had one of the best ocean sunset views one could hope for and enjoyed drinks on the lanai every night watching the sunset beyond Bali Hai. You were right – there was plenty of privacy. I enjoyed the well-equipped kitchen in the condo and the bed was supremely comfortable –a real treat in a rental condo. The grounds and facility were low- key and unpretentious. The location was perfect as well. It was away from the “bustle” of Hanalei’s streets but convenient to everything I needed. I also liked the little beach at Pali Ke Kua – there was interesting snorkeling, I saw rays, sea turtles, snowflake eels, many fish, etc., every day. The beach was relatively unfrequented and on several days I was the only person on the it! The condo was an excellent value and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet oceanfront location in this price range. Take care, Laura " - Laura, Ashville, NC, 2008-03-30
